This trail follows the standard hiking route up the Western side of Pikes Peak to 13,100 feet where you will be rewarded with peaceful forests, an exhilarating climb, a close-up look of Devil’s Playground and amazing views of the Continental Divide! This is considered the classic route to summit Pikes Peak and is much shorter with less elevation gain than the Barr trail approach on the Eastern face of Pikes Peak.
